When your ad complies with the criteria specified in the search, your ad will appear at the beginning of the advertisement under “Priority listing”.

Ads without photos will not be displayed on the main page, even if you activate this service.

What do I do to ensure photos are accepted and do not exceed maximum allowable size limit?

Photo files must not exceed tthe maximum acceptable limit of 2MB. If the file size is larger, it must be reduced by using an appropriate program for processing photos.  File size should automatically appear when you rollover your mouse cursor over the image. Alternatively point the cursor over the image and right click  your mouse button and select properties to view the file size.
You can obtain free program on http://www.download.com  (under Windows Software – Left hand Side of the displayed page/ Select “Digital Photo Software and download “InfraView””). Alternatively right click your mouse button over the image and select "Open With" and select Microsoft picture manager. Under picture Tab select compress picture. On the right hand side select "document" or "web pages" and click ok. Save the image as something else. Now you can uplaod your images.
Alternatively, you can submit your photos to customerservice@eurodbgroup.com.au where our friendly staff will be able to complete the task for you free of charge. Do not forget to preserve the original photo when adjusting the image quality.

Images that have been tampered with, do not represent the advertised vehicles with intent to promote other product and services without written consent from Euro DB Group will be rejected. Images using unkown format that may look inapropriate or distorted will aslo be removed. User will be notified by e-mail.

I would like to buy a vehicle. Do I still need to register or pay for services on Euro DB Automotive?
No.
Buyers do not have to register and there is no charge for using our services on Euro DB Automotive
Simply complete the required criteria in the search box where you find the vehicle you are looking for.

How do I search for cars?
There are number of options

• Search all available vehicles - Simple click on search button within the search box on the main page
• Specific Search / Vehicle type – Simply select the vehicle type you are looking for in the search window under “MAKE” and click on search box on the main page
• Specific Search / Vehicle Model – Simply select model of the vehicle once “MAKE” selection has been completed and click on the search box on the main page
• Specific Search / Price – Simply select price range in the search window and click on search box on the main page
• Specific Search / State – Simply select the state to narrow your search to a specific state and click on the search on the main page
• Advanced Search / Postcode – Simply select the post code and maximum distance within this postcode to narrow your search further and click on the search box on the main page

Under advanced search and only in reference to state and postcode you should select your model and type of the vehicle before proceeding unless you want to preview all available vehicles within the specified criteria.
You may also choose to add specific words in your search within the search window to further narrow down your search.

Viewing the ads

To view a particular advertisement, after navigating away from main page, assuming that all required search criteria has been completed, click on “more details” or “dealer or private enquiry” or vehicle image within the advertisement to preview selected ad in more detail or simply scroll through a list of ads until you find what you are looking for.
For storing selected search results for later viewing, select “save this search” under the thumbnail
Reference within “ My Search” window.

Advertisements are stored under your profile for 30 days.

I have found an interesting ad and would like to collect additional information?

Contact the seller and ask him for details on the purchase of the vehicle.
Complete the contact form located on the left hand side of the page within the advertisement.
Call the seller directly using the contact details provided with the advertisement.

Functionality of the “My Search” option.

This option is used for the collection of advertisements for later viewing and or comparison of similar offers etc.

For the preservation of the search results, click on “Save this Search” under “Current Search” clip board. This is located on the right hand side of search results page.

For the preservation of the individual car search results, click on “Save this Car” under “Control Panel” clipboard. This is located on the right hand side of the individual car search results page.

To view the contents of the “Saved Searches” or “Saved Cars” clipboard, click on “Saved Searches” within “My Search” clipboard, placed on the right hand side of search result page.

To view the contents of the “Saved Cars” clipboard, click on “Saved Cars” clipboard, placed on the right hand side of individual car search result page.

Saved adverts are stored for 30 days.

Do I need to register if I want to advertise?

Anybody wishing to sell a car/s on www.eurodb.com.au  must register with Euro DB Automotive in order to use their services. This will enable you to navigate through Euro DB Group advertising pages where you will be able to

1. Click on the “Sell” or “New Ad” tab on any pages within www.eurodb.com.au located at the top of the page/s.
2. Select advertising option “Private standard”, “Private Premium” or click on Dealership registration tab and click continue

Private Standard

1. Complete the registration form and click continue (required fields are marked with an asterisk *)
2. E-mail request to verify your new log in details will be sent to provided e-mail address
3. Select payment method and finalise payment
4. Upload up to 4 picture/s
5. Fill in an optional field and description of the vehicle and click continue. (Remember, the more specific the information you enter, the faster you can find potential buyers.)
6. Preview the advertisement and click continue

Additional Information

After completion of the registration, you will receive an e-mail with the User name and Password necessary to access and edit lodged advertisement/s.
A Payment discount will apply to dealerships signing up for longer periods.

How to pay for ads or services?

You can pay by credit card:  Master Card, Visa and Amex using our secured SSL service.
Once you select the payment method, click Continue and follow the instructions.

If you have created an ad, but decide you want to pay later or use another payment method, an email with a reference No. will be forwarded to you by Eurodb staff Your ad/s will be saved under your profile until payment/s has been made.  Please note, ad will be removed if payment has not been received within 48 hours.

When will my ad be published?

Once your ad/s has been finalised, payment has been processed and the ad/s has been approved by Euro DB Group Pty Ltd staff.
For “Dealerships Gold Premium“ Dealership registration verification is required where special registration code will be issued (if not provided by Dealership) to activate Dealership Gold Premium services. Please contact Euro DB Group customer service at customerservice@eurodbgroup.com.au for further information.
Transaction Invoice will be issued for all completed online payments immediately after the completion of online transactions. This will be forwarded to your email address provided to us by you during the registration process.

If you want to view ads as quickly as possible, use the on-line payment option.

How do I change my ad/s?
Click on the login tab in the top menu; enter your login information to access your profile
All uploaded active advertisements under your profile will be accessible from here

Now you can add, edit or modify your ad/s

Additional Information

  Under any selected plan User is allowed to make unlimited changes to their Ad/s. Uploaded Ad/s that reach  their 30 day s viewing limit will be automatically  removed from our database and will no longer appear under your profile. However, private sellers should login to their account anytime during this period to reactivate the 30 day viewing period if the vehicle has not been sold. Dealerships will be required to extend their subscription period.

How to add or delete picture/s from my ad/s?

Click on the login tab in the top menu; enter your login information to access your profile
All uploaded active advertisements under your profile will be accessible from here

Now you can add or delete any photos in all active ad/s under your profile

Depending on advertisement options you can add up to 8 photos. Pictures can be in JPEG or GIF format. Maximum size of photo is 300 KB.

Once you have accessed any of your active ad/s follow the onscreen instruction on how to remove or include additional photos within the advertisement limit

Additional Information

First picture is the most important as this will appear in the lists of ads and under “Private Premium” or “Dealership Premium” will be displayed in the larger size.

I haven’t sold my car / how can I extend the advertised period of my ad/s?

Private advertisements

1. Click on Private Advertisers Control Panel
2. Log in using provided login credentials
3. Open the ad/s needing extension
4. Viewing time has been reset to its maximum allowable limit
5. You are finished

Dealership advertisement

1. Click on Dealership Administration Panel
2. Log in using provided login credentials
3. Select subscription service type
4. Finalise payment
5. You are finished.  All active ad/s viewing time under your Dealership Profile will be reset to its maximum allowable limit and unless you cancel your subscription your adds will not be removed

Subscription renewal will be automatically debited from your specified credit account on due date every 30 days unless notified otherwise or after such services have been cancelled by registered user

Forgot my password - what do I do?

Click on the log tab on the main menu and select “Forgot your password”?
Enter your e-mail address and click Send
You password will be E-mailed to you.

How to become a dealer, how to register?

To register as a Dealer, it is necessary to fill in and fax the Dealer Registration Form to Euro DB Group Pty Ltd in order to set up Live Upload Services.

Go to the registration for Dealers tab and select registration for Live Upload Services
Fill out the registration form making sure that all fields marked with an asterisk * have been completed
Confirm the agreement by ticking the box marked " Terms and Conditions".
 

Information entered during registration will be verified by the Euro DB Group administrator followed by a confirmation email advising that registration has been approved.

Where can I find information about my ads, the company data, etc.?

This information can be found in the dealer administration panel. 
There you will find information about your company and a list of active and inactive ad/s.

How to upload ad/s as Dealer?

What happens to ad/s which have expired?

Such advertisement shall become inactive and can be found in the inactive list of ads in the administration panel.

To reactivate click on the inactive ad/s and select reactivate form Activate tab.

Inactive ads are available on the list of your ads for an additional 30 days. After this time they will be completely removed from our system.

I used monthly ad/s limit, what should I do?

You can log into Dealership Administration panel and modify your subscription.

No, The unused number of ads are non-transferable to the following period.

Clean your car thoroughly yourself or alternatively, have it detailed by a professional.
Make sure the car has been serviced and inspected by a qualified mechanic.
Provide vehicle history, if available, or suggest free vehicle inspection by appropriate service provider specialising in vehicle inspection reports. Effective Advertising 
Photos of your vehicle should be as clear as possible, preferably taken during day time and under plenty of sunlight. Include a variety of shots to visually describe your vehicle to potential buyers as much as possible.

Describe all the best features that your vehicle has which may include things like: sunroof, heated seats, alloy wheels and many others should be included. Don’t forget to include other features in different categories such as safety, efficiency and comfort that also will help you sell the vehicle faster.

Is the car still under finance? Are there any mechanical unresolved issues requiring attention? Those are some of the other items worth including in your ad to help selling the vehicle.

How to find the Buyer
Make sure you provide current contact details. Also consider your availability during the selling period. You may have to include additional telephone numbers to increase your chances. Include other contact details, such as e-mail address. Be as honest as possible when answering buyer’s enquiries. You should encourage potential buyer to have a look and test-drive your vehicle.
