Volvo second generation C30 coupe named the DRIVe model with its 1.6l matched to a 5 speed manual transmission diesel engine consumes 3.8l/100km thanks to its Stop/Start Technology that switched the engine off during standstill under idle. Volvo claims up to 8% reduction in fuel consumption that also reducing overall emissions. Offered with a 2.5l 169kw turbo petrol or a choice of 1.6L or 2.0L diesel Engine. In total there are four car variants to choose form starting with 1.6l Diesel 5 speed manual, 2.0l Diesel 6 speed manual, 2.5l Turbo (petrol) 5 speed auto and 2.5l Turbo (petrol) 6 speed automatic. Second generation C30 coupe is already available here in Australia starting from $34,950 up to range topping $48,650 2.5l Turbo version. As you would expect form Volvo, standard safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS, Whiplash Protection System and Stability control.
