Volvo Australia has finally released its pricing on stylishly designed safety innovative Volvo S60. Priced from $51,950 for S60 T5 four-cylinder fuel injected 2.0L turbo petrol followed by $57,950 S60 D5 AWD fuel-efficient five-cylinder twin turbo diesel and topped by S60 T6 AWD 3.0 Litre turbo petrol six-cylinder powerhouse with $64,950 price tag. Reasonable power delivery follows in the same order and starting with very reasonable 175kW and 320Nm considering T5 smaller capacity GTDi engine, followed by diesel power 151kW and 420Nm, ending with massive 224kW and 440Nm from its T6 range topper. Choice of two automatic transmissions will be included in the package. Entry model T5 will score dual clutch automatic whilst AWD variants are equipped with Volvo Gearonic adaptive six-speeder that can be used in full auto or manual mode. In-line with Volvo already well recognised and established safety focus it continues to further evolve through smart innovative approach towards technologically advanced safety features like City Safety system with collision avoidance feature providing audible warning with emergency braking function that continuously scans and evaluates the area in front of the vehicle for possible danger. Blind spot and Lane departure warning system and Driver Alert control. Interior design can only be described as superbly finished with high level of detail using quality materials throughout the cabin. Instrumentation is in line with world best featuring top quality premium sound system with all the bells and whistle. Receiving high level of recognition and applause from across the Globe we could not agree more that Volvo statement of taking this latest S60 to entirely different levels with superbly designed and packaged four door premium sedan.
