Smart must be considering increasing its offering that will take it beyond the traditional two seater hatchback following the release of pick-up like sketches of soon to be introduced all electric Smart ForUs Concept and its confirmed worldwide debut at the Detroit International Motor Show next year. Smart ForUs is said to share its electric propulsion system with soon to be introduced Smart ForTwo ED (Electric Drive).
“We at Smart love pick-ups if they are small on the outside and large on the inside, very safe and extremely comfortable” said Annete Winkler from Smart, further adding “With the Smart For Us a petrol station is no longer required, and the storage area for the e-bike is always available on board.”
