China’s own Flagship sedan

Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co. also known as BAIC is about to introduce China’s own flagship model at the Beijing International Motor Show later this week that according to latest reports will feature pillarless design with suicide doors and is the work of Italian design studio Fioravanti and Shanghai Eastone Automotive that have worked on BAIC C80K project that is also rumoured to be based on Saab 9-5 platform to which BAIC had acquired limited rights during Saab‘s difficult 2009-2010 period. Apart from the obvious similarities with other luxury brands such as Bentley and Lexus BAIC C80K Concept will still need to be approved for production. Stay tuned for more information on C80K.
