If driving a Hybrid is highly desirable but performance of current offerings is the biggest concern then Lotus may just provide a car that will tick all the boxes. Its recently introduced Evora 414E Hybrid concept is not only kind on the environment by implementing Hybrid technology to its propulsion, it also promises to deliver exhilarating performance in-line with Lotus standards. Fitted with two high output electric motors neatly packed within rear wheels assembly and delivering combined output of 305kW, it will catapult the car and its occupants to 100km/h in 4 seconds flat. Furthermore, 1.2 Litre three-cylinder engine responsible to keep the electricity juice flowing by recharging the lithium-ion batteries, will help extends its range to very reasonable 490km between full recharge. Its unclear if this concept car will ever turn into production ready reality, which is something Lotus will have verify, but we assume that Lotus will eventually use such technology in its future model line-up.
