One of the most recognisable Holden Flagship sedan has been discontinued from production as part of the recently released Holden Commodore VE II line up.  After successful 36-year period at the top, Holden Statesman will no longer be filling Holden Dealerships showrooms. Taking its place will be more luxurious Holden Caprice along the side of newly introduced Holden Caprice VE V with even more higher equipment levels adding sunroof, Bose Audio with integrated duel DVD screens in the rear, three zone climate and NAPPA leather interior. According to Holden research, Caprice badge was more appealing to far broader customer base. This is not the first time Holden has decided to axe its luxury model from its line-up. Who knows, it may well return yet again somewhere down the line as such cars usually do.
