There are two six cylinder engine two choose from. Standard XT 4.0L DOHC DI-VCT I6 version develops 195kW with 391Nm of power and is available with 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as standard for vehicle produced from July 2010. Falcon XR6 Turbo and G6E Turbo 4.0L DOHC DI-VCT TURBO I6 engine develops 270kW and 533Nm of power and is available with 6 speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift as standard for vehicle produced from July 2010. All models are fitted with independent rear suspension individually suited with slight variation from control blade IRS to luxury sport control blade IRS. Falcon XT and G6 share the braking system of twin and single caliper brakes front/rear whilst XR6 is fitted with performance braking system. On the inside cruise control, HMI, Trip computer, Steering wheel mounted audio controls with single MP3 compatible CD player with auxiliary audio input , single zone climate control, Electric mirrors and windows and Remote keyless entry is now standard. Optional equipment consists of 7” colour screen with Premium 6 CD in dash stereo system (XR6, standard on G6E), duel zone climate control (XR6 Range, Standard on G6E) and leather seat option for XR6 models. XR 6 variants are fitted with 17” alloys with 18” option whilst Turbo XR6 comes standard with 18” alloys with 19” option. Dedicated LPG is also available for non turbo variants. Our pick would have to be the top of the line GE6 Turbo with its unique front and rear styling with true luxury feel. Definitely the best Ford Falcon ever.
