BMW X1 SUV; For the first time BMW introduced new line up of compact four-wheel drive SUV that is offered in full four wheel drive or rear wheel drive set up. BMW claims fuel consumption based on urban and hwy combined driving to be 8.2 l/100km for xDrive 18i, 58 l/100km for xDrive 20d, 6.3 l/100km for xDrive 23d and 9.3 l/100km for xDrive 25i. Standard safety equipment includes 6 airbags, Electronic stability control, ABS and front seatbelt tensioner and force limiter. Inside occupants will be entertained by 6 discs USB and MP3 capable stereo system, availability of Bluetooth to operate their hand held mobile phones, whilst keeping the interior temperature control via duel-zone climate control with BMW superior air conditioning is one of standard features one can expect in this European build vehicle. Also on the list is the inclusion of rain-sensing vipers and auto-lights, active cruise control, auto dimming mirrors, front and rear parking sensors and run flat tires. If that is not enough, Bi-Xenon lights, Panorama Glass roof, Rear View camera, Navigation system, electronic performance control and metallic paint is also available through BMW ever growing option list.
