Firstly introduced in very late 2008 and still fresh as ever, the all new Audi A4 2.0T car offers the best entry level European Luxury vehicle on the market today. Bigger than the A4 B7 it replaced offering reasonable level space throughout the cabin it will comfortably swallow four adult occupants without any problems. Refined throughout, with noticeable improvement s over the old it’s perfectly positioned to go head to head against Mercedes Benz C Class and BMW 3. Again the high quality interior finish, Audi A4 strong point, with further reduced external noise levels and increase level of equipment makes it very attractive proposition in this luxury vehicle segment. Supported by great dynamics with power to match from its highly developed DI 2.0T engine Audi has covered just about every corner with this mid-spec variant. Its direct injection 2.0Turbo TFSI hooked up to CVT type transmission developing reasonable 135kW of power and 320Nm of torque matched with superbly balanced drivetrain is a pleasure to drive with quite adaptable capability to handle just about any type of condition. Probably the only weakness in the front wheel drive arrangement is the existence of slight understeer when pushed hard but luckily Audi did developed more powerful all wheel drive alternative for those willing to take the A4 to its limits. It’s also worthwhile to note that front wheel drive 2.0T returns respectable fuel consumption of 9.3L/100km. Audi A4 2.0T is fitted with ABS, EBD, Vehicle Stability control, Traction Control, Front, Side and Curtain Airbags, seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters as standard. Optional extras include active cruise control to provide emergency braking if collision is detected and Side Assist – Audi blind spot warning early warning system. Sporting Dual zone climate control, Keyless entry and start, Mp3 compatible in dash 6 disc stacker Audio with Auxiliary input socket, Leather seats and parking sensors to name the few from the standard list. Those looking for little extra can opt out for Xenon headlights with Day time LED running lights, heated front seats and MMI satellite navigation system. Moving on, Audi A4 2.0T has scored very well ticking just about all the boxes. Well equipped, supported by superb build quality and handling it’s probably the best choice in its own category.
