1964 Aston Martin DB5 for cool 4.2 Million

One of the most famous 007 cars from Austin Martin DB5 has gone under the hummer at recent RM Auction in England fetching astronomical €4.2 million. Featured in 1964 James Bond movie “Goldfinger” and driven by no other then one of the most recognisable 007 identity Sean Connery. It is packed with full scale 007 gadgets of the era including bulletproof shielding, machine guns, tyre slashers, revolving number plates, oil slick sprayer, nail spreader and smoke screen that are still operational, although some of the gadgets have been disabled. Originally, radio DJ Jerry Lewis purchased the car back in 1969 for $12,000 representing only a fraction of current €4.2M selling price. Proceedings from the sale will be put to good use through Jerry Lewis charitable activities providing support to less fortunate around the world. Jerry Lewis is also the National Chairman for the US Muscular Dystrophy Association and is widely recognised as one of the most active charitable activist in the US.
