Recent introduction of all new Alfa Romeo MiTo to fill the gap in the small car category its being beefed up with yet the another Mito alternative. Fitted with Alfa new 1.4 Litre Turbo engine developing 125kW of power with Alfa’s own MultiAir technology designed to develop maximum amount power from smaller size unit thus reducing overall fuel consumption. Power delivery is exceptional especially low down where the turbo seems to be doing most of its work. Configured with a six speed manual gearbox it will pull through all the way to 100km/h in eight seconds flat. Sitting on 17” alloys as standard it also includes Bi-Xenon headlights, LED taillights, Leather interior, dual zone climate control, multifunction leather steering wheel, Audio with MP3 compatibility, electric windows and mirrors, Keyless entry and cruise control. Safety equipment includes long list of inclusions starting with 7 air bags, Vehicle Dynamic Stability, ABS, EBD, Anti Slip Reducer, Control Brake Cornering and DST. Another first will see the introduction of Alfa Stop/Start technology designed to further cut Fuel consumption. It will be included in MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde or QV standard list of inclusions. It works every time the clutch is depressed whilst stationary. All of that contributed to Alfa MiTo excellent fuel consumption of 6.0L/100km.
QV MiTo will be replacing outgoing Sport version whilst standard entry level MiTo will be fitted with MiTo Sport more powerful engine.
